Terms & Conditions
1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to the services provided by Middle Third Services Ltd ("Middle Third", "we", "us" or "our").
By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Middle Third Services Ltd
Company number: 17415096
Registered office: 53 Manor Gardens, Warminster, Wiltshire, BA12 8PN
Email: info@middlethird.co.uk
Website: middlethird.co.uk
These Terms apply primarily to our £49 Money MOT service.
2. What is the Money MOT?
The Money MOT is a personal bill-saving advice service designed to help customers identify potential savings on their regular household bills.
The service currently focuses primarily on:
• Mobile phone services
• Broadband services
• TV services
During a Money MOT, we discuss your existing arrangements, costs and requirements and provide practical recommendations intended to help you reduce your regular monthly spending.
The Money MOT is an advice and comparison service.
We do not guarantee that a particular provider, tariff, package or product will be available to you.
We do not enter into contracts with providers on your behalf unless expressly agreed with you in advance.
3. The £49 Money MOT
The standard price for a Money MOT is:
• £49
The fee covers the provision of the Money MOT and our advice and recommendations.
The Money MOT does not include the cost of any new services, products, contracts or tariffs that you may subsequently choose to purchase.
You remain responsible for deciding whether to change provider, tariff, package or subscription.
4. Our Money-Back Guarantee
We want customers to be better off as a result of using Middle Third.
If, following your Money MOT, we are unable to identify potential savings of at least £49 over the first three months, you may be entitled to a refund of your £49 Money MOT fee, subject to these Terms.
What we mean by £49 of savings
For the purposes of the guarantee, savings are calculated by comparing your existing monthly cost with the reasonable monthly cost available following recommendations made by Middle Third.
For example:
Existing cost: £100 per month
Potential new cost: £80 per month
Potential monthly saving: £20
Potential three-month saving: £60
In this example, the potential saving exceeds the £49 Money MOT fee.
Savings may be calculated across one or more services reviewed during your Money MOT.
5. Conditions of the Money-Back Guarantee
To qualify for the guarantee:
• You must have paid the £49 Money MOT fee.
• You must provide accurate and reasonably complete information about the services being reviewed.
• You must participate in the Money MOT and provide information reasonably required for us to provide the service.
• You must consider and, where appropriate, act upon the recommendations provided by Middle Third.
• You must give the recommended changes a reasonable opportunity to take effect.
• You must contact us within the first three months following your Money MOT if you believe the qualifying savings have not been achieved.
• You must provide reasonable information necessary for us to assess whether the guarantee applies.
The guarantee relates to savings that Middle Third could reasonably identify based on the information available to us at the time of the Money MOT.
6. What does not count as a saving?
The following will not normally be treated as savings for the purposes of the Money-Back Guarantee:
• Savings resulting from a reduction in your usage rather than a change identified through the Money MOT
• Promotional offers that were already available to you before the Money MOT
• Savings resulting from changes you made independently before receiving our recommendations
• Savings resulting from circumstances outside the scope of the Money MOT
• Savings based on information that you provided incorrectly or incompletely
• The value of benefits or services that you lose when changing a package, unless specifically considered as part of our recommendation
Where there is uncertainty about whether a particular saving qualifies, Middle Third will assess the circumstances reasonably and in good faith.
7. Refund process
If you believe you qualify for a refund under the Money-Back Guarantee, contact:
info@middlethird.co.uk
within three months of your Money MOT.
We may ask you for reasonable information to assess your claim.
If we determine that the guarantee applies, we will refund the £49 Money MOT fee using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
8. No guarantee of actual savings
The purpose of the Money MOT is to identify potential opportunities to save money.
We cannot guarantee that you will actually achieve a particular saving because this may depend on:
• Provider availability
• Eligibility requirements
• Pricing changes
• Contract terms
• Your individual circumstances
• Your decision whether to accept our recommendations
Our £49 Money-Back Guarantee is separate from any guarantee that you will actually change provider or reduce your bills.
9. Your responsibility
You remain responsible for making the final decision about your household services.
Before changing a provider, tariff, contract or package, you should consider:
• Contract terms
• Cancellation charges
• Minimum terms
• Installation or setup fees
• Loss of existing benefits
• Changes to service levels
• Any other costs associated with the change
Middle Third will provide practical recommendations but does not make the final decision for you.
10. Third-party providers
Middle Third may discuss or recommend services offered by third-party providers.
We are independent of those providers unless explicitly stated otherwise.
We are not responsible for:
• The services provided by third parties
• Changes to third-party prices
• Third-party contracts
• Service outages
• Installation delays
• Cancellation fees
• Customer service provided by third parties
• Any loss arising from a third-party service
Any contract you enter into with a third-party provider is between you and that provider.
You should review the provider's own terms and conditions before entering into a contract.
11. No financial advice
The Money MOT provides practical guidance relating to household bills and subscriptions.
It is not intended to constitute regulated financial advice, investment advice, mortgage advice, insurance advice or other regulated financial services.
Middle Third does not recommend financial products or investments as part of the Money MOT.
12. Prices and payment
The price of the Money MOT is displayed on our website.
Unless otherwise stated, the price is £49.
Payment must normally be made before the Money MOT is provided.
We reserve the right to change our prices for future purchases. Any change will not affect a Money MOT that you have already purchased.
13. Cancellation and your statutory rights
If you purchase the Money MOT online or otherwise at a distance, you may have statutory cancellation rights under UK consumer law.
Where applicable, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period beginning when the contract is entered into.
If you ask us to begin providing the Money MOT during this 14-day period, you expressly request that the service begins before the end of the cancellation period.
If you subsequently cancel after the service has started, you may be required to pay for the proportion of the service already provided, where permitted by law.
If the Money MOT has been fully performed during the cancellation period after you expressly requested that we begin the service, your statutory right to cancel may end, where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
14. Refunds and statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any legal rights you have as a consumer.
This includes rights relating to services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill, are not as described, or otherwise fail to meet requirements imposed by applicable consumer law.
Our Money-Back Guarantee is an additional commercial guarantee and does not replace or restrict your statutory rights.
15. Providing information
You agree to provide information that is reasonably accurate and complete when using the Money MOT.
Our recommendations may be affected if information provided to us is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
You should tell us if any important information changes before you act on our recommendations.

All content on the Middle Third website, including text, branding, graphics, logos and other materials, belongs to Middle Third or is used with permission unless otherwise stated.
You may use information provided to you as part of your Money MOT for your own personal purposes.
You must not reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit Middle Third's materials without our prior written permission.
17. Website use
You agree not to:
• Use our website for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with the operation or security of our website
• Copy or reproduce our website content for commercial purposes
• Submit false or misleading information
We may suspend or restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers or systems.
18. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to that, Middle Third will not be responsible for losses arising from:
• Decisions you make based on our recommendations
• Contracts you enter into with third-party providers
• Changes made by third-party providers
• Information you provide that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Our recommendations are based on information available to us at the time and should be considered alongside the terms and pricing offered by the relevant provider.
19. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for delays or failure to provide our services where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This may include:
• Website or technology failures
• Internet outages
• Third-party service failures
• Changes in laws or regulations
• Provider system failures
• Natural disasters
• Industrial disputes
• Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will be published on our website and will show the date it was last updated.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applying to a service you have already purchased unless required by law.
23. Governing law

If you are a consumer, you will retain any mandatory rights and protections available to you under the laws applicable to your circumstances.
